EXPERIENCE:

Judy Roth is a pioneer and recognized expert with legacy programming languages; in evolutionary mainframe operating systems. For the past 25 years, she has consulted and taught entry level and advanced programming languages in evolutionary MVS: XA, ESA, OS/390, and now z/OS. Ms. Roth has earned a national reputation for excellence in COBOL and PL/1, legacy programming languages, and VSAM. She is proficient and has consultancy level expertise with the comprehensive range of programming tools and utilities: JCL, SYNCSORT, File-Aid, TSO Xpediter. Her experience in application development provides the perspective to explain the program logic and teach the intricacies of the legacy languages required for retrofitting and updating the source code. Ms. Roth is available for complimentary assessments of legacy language development assignments. Her current work for SYS-ED includes the management and instruction of entry-level COBOL and mainframe boot camps and reviewing/assessing programming language courseware for use in e- and distance-learning formats.
